Charlotte Anna Rathmann (2000, Lemgo) grew up on the country side of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. A BA in Communication Design at the Beter Behrens School of Arts, Düsseldorf led her to focus on the theory of Photography. Including social functions, as well as the history of the medium, Photography might be a key to broadly understand circumstances after the millennial turnover – how is Photography being used to negotiate cultural movements? Charlotte currently studies Photography Studies and Research at the Folkwang University of the Arts.
