Charlotte Anna Rathmann (2000, Lemgo) grew up on the country side of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. A BA in Communication Design at the Beter Behrens School of Arts, Düsseldorf led her to focus on the theory of Photography. Including social functions, as well as the history of the medium, she encounters the circumstances after the millennial turnover as a chance of great potential to understand Photography through a theoretical and artistic practice – how can we make use of Photography to negotiate cultural and social movements?
